Biography
- A VJJA member for thirty years,
Jim has served as the association’s Vice President since 1996. He also served as Membership Chair from 1994 until December
2005. Prior to his election to the state Board of Directors, Jim served as the Treasurer of VJJA’s Tidewater District
for 8 years. Professionally, Jim has been employed by the 2nd District Court Service Unit in Virginia Beach for 35 years,
serving 28 of those years as Deputy Director. He attended Campbell University, in Buies Creek, North Carolina, where
he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
